A DELEGATION OF CHINESE CEREAL BUYERS HAS VISITED THE UK TO EXPLORE NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPORTING BRITISH WHEAT AND BARLEY INTO CHINA, reports Farming UK. The four-day visit included a tour of a farm and grain store to showcase the high levels of cleanliness of British grain. An AHDB executive for Cereals said that the visit had provided valuable insight into the needs and requirements of the Chinese market. She said that the feedback had been positive. The visit follows news that China is to lift its ban on exports of British beef.
